Royer Vineyard
Farmed by a Burgundy and Champagne fanatic
Royer comprises fifteen acres, thirteen of them in Chardonnay, with diverse French and heritage clonal material that brings nuance and complexity to the glass. Its grower's client roster is a who's who of Oregon's vanguard of elite Chardonnay producers — a short list of people who came to this hillside for the same reason we did.
Cool and rocky is the theme across all four of our sites, and Royer is the clearest expression of it. The fruit arrives with the grip and citric tension we cannot live without, and it carries the largest share of the Willamette Valley blend for exactly that reason.
“These vineyards speak with clarity. Our role is to preserve that voice.”

2024 Royer Vineyard Chardonnay
Tensile, dense and powerful, Royer presents as firm and regal with bright acidity, unfurling aromatics and flavors of gunflint, barrel smoke, golden spices, flourishes of lemon oil, lime curd, graham and ginger.
